Recognizing the hard work of your employees is one of the most important aspects of running a successful business. Not only does it demonstrate appreciation, but it also shows that you value their contribution to your company’s success. That’s why we have implemented a unique policy aimed at recognizing, treasuring and giving some special treatment to our most talented and dedicated long-term employees. 

Award System

To recognize and reward loyal and dedicated employees, our company has implemented an award system which rewards those who have been with us for more than six months to 3 years with recognition, special treatment, and additional benefits. Every year, the management team will review and announce new EK members based on the following criteria: time of contributing, performance management, core values demonstrated.  

We classify our EK Member into 3 groups: EK1, EK2, EK3 respectively according to their contribution time for company’s projects of minimum of 6 months, 18 months, 30 months. Besides, they must receive positive feedback from our customers for minimum 1 to 10 projects based on each level of EK, meet the requirement of English competency and at the level of EK 3, they must show their leadership quality through the outcome of the project they lead. Another criterion to define EK is the core value that they represent. They must be recognized and consistently receive good feedback of demonstrating the company’s core value as a representative.  

Recognition

We believe that recognition can be just as important as monetary rewards when it comes to showing appreciation for long-term employees. That’s why we make sure that our most dedicated staff members are recognized in front of their peers at least once a year. This recognition can take many different forms, from verbal praise in meetings or during all-hands events, to written testimonials. This award system is given out on an annual basis, and each year the awards are given to some outstanding employees who have demonstrated loyalty and dedication to our organization. The awards come in the form of annual salary bonuses, gift certificates or other forms of recognition. These awards are designed to not only show appreciation but also to motivate others to remain part of our team for many years to come.    

Special Treatment

In addition to monetary rewards and recognition, we also provide special treatment for our EK members of staff. This can include anything from extra vacation days or health insurance 1+1, to WFH permission. Depending on project characteristics and public nature job, EK2, EK3 members can WFH more than 02 days/month, if project and role of that member allows them to do well work while working remotely. These special cases need to be approved by the Management team. We want our long-term employees to feel truly valued by us here at Eastgate Software, so these extra perks are intended both as tangible rewards and a way of saying thank you for their continued loyalty over the years!
