Mobility And Transportation System Delivered To Standard

We've spent over a decade building for safety-critical environments, partnering with names like Siemens Mobility and Yunex Traffic. That means fewer surprises during integration and systems that hold up under real-world conditions.

The Problem

Common Challenges From Traffic Engineering Teams

ITS teams manage aging, multi-vendor networks where legacy protocols were never built to talk to each other. If you recognize any of these problems, you have come to the right place.

Multi-level motorway interchange handling live traffic across many lanes

Transit priority looks solid on paper, not on the corridor

"TSP calculated perfectly in the simulation. Roll it out across the whole fleet and half the buses still catch a red."

Aerial view of freight trucks queuing at a road terminal

Controller data is stuck in protocol silos

"Half our intersections run TRAFF, the new ones run NTCIP. Every time we add a corridor, we have to build a converter just to get both talking to the same management system."

Traffic light on amber at an urban intersection

Detection boxes don't mean detection works

"The vision system draws a box around the signal every time. Half of those boxes are green when the light is actually red."

Engineer reviewing printed performance charts alongside a tablet

Live dashboards still end up as a printout in a folder

"We built real-time reporting. The meeting still runs off the printed version from two weeks ago."

Hourglass on a desk, deadline pressure on an engineering programme

The controller outlived the vendor's support contract

"Our field hardware is nine years past end of life. The vendor stopped taking our calls about it three years ago."

Our Capabilities

We Engineer Every Layer Of The ITS Stack

From control-center software to the hardware at the intersection, every system is built field-grade and validated for live traffic.

Traffic management & control

Central control systems and adaptive signal infrastructure for live networks.

C-ITS / V2X

Roadside units and vehicle-to-everything communication, to protocol.

Real-time signal optimization

Adaptive control that responds to live road conditions, second by second.

Roadside unit software

Embedded field software, engineered and traceable to standard.

Traffic digital twins & simulation

Virtual controller environments (M60-SEPAC), coupled simulation with Aimsun Next.

Signal performance measurement

Cloud-based SPM platforms for cities, ATSPM-standard KPIs, and DOT-level reporting.

Our Standards

Standards Compliance, Built In From Day One

Traffic systems run on a patchwork of legacy and modern protocols. We work across all of them so you're not locked into one vendor's ecosystem.

SCATS

Sydney's adaptive signal control protocol, now running across networks in Asia and the US.

TRAFF

Siemens' own protocol for talking with and configuring traffic light controllers.

OCIT-C

The open interface standard for central-to-central communication between traffic management systems.

OCIT-O Car

The open interface standard's field layer, connecting central systems to roadside devices.

NTCIP

The US standard protocol for how traffic devices communicate with each other.

V2I / I2V

Two-way communication between vehicles and infrastructure, built for smart intersections and mobility.

OZS

An online data exchange standard for real-time traffic signal status and monitoring.

VSPLUS

A signal control optimization framework built for adaptive intersection management.

Our Timeline

Decade-plus Partnership with Siemens and Yunex Traffic

Since 2014, our partnership has run without a break, growing from single integrations to full-stack platform ownership.

2014 - 2017

We opened the relationship with a single TRAFF integration (sX), then spent three years extending it. The ZUEM interface and SCATS agent support went in first, followed by automated TRAFF testing.

By 2017, VSPLUS integration, STRIDE support, and a c2x-ready Map2x tool had turned that one integration into a full platform.

2018

We added two more pieces to the stack: the DKZ Router and SignalLogger.

2020 - 2024

Starting in 2020, focus shifted to SPM Platform, a multi-year build that ran through 2024.

2021 - 2023

Running alongside the SPM build, 2021 to 2023 covered Planning Tool SO22, TraffDriver M60, Virtual M60, and VT-Server.

2022 - 2023

ZUEM maintenance and UTC configuration tooling kept the central systems current while the platform work ran.

2023 - 2025

Yunex HQ, sX CH, and OMCS extended the partnership into its second decade.

2025+

A new platform project is in progress - the partnership keeps growing.
