In the world of digital transformation, there are few tools as vital as an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. With its centralized approach, a robust ERP platform gives businesses an all-encompassing view of their operations through an integrated ecosystem that harnesses data from multiple sources. This allows for an organization to manage its disparate business units through a unified system, bridging the gaps between siloed departments. In this blog post, we will explore how companies can effectively use ERP applications across diverse business units, with updated data, and real business cases to underpin the benefits.
Some examples on company effectively utilize ERP
Let’s take a look at some examples of companies that are effectively using ERP. One such company is Nestle. Nestle is a Swiss-based food and beverage company that implemented an ERP system to streamline its business processes. The company used SAP’s ERP solution to integrate its different business functions, and as a result, was able to improve product quality, reduce lead times, and increase the accuracy of its inventory records.
Another example of a company that is effectively using ERP is Procter and Gamble (P&G). P&G is a consumer goods company that implemented an ERP system designed by SAP. The ERP system allowed P&G to consolidate its operations and streamline its supply chain, resulting in significant cost savings. In addition to this, the system helped P&G improve its inventory management, allowing the company to better manage its production processes and reduce waste.
In recent years, small and medium-sized businesses have also started to implement ERP systems, and one such example is the CannaCraft, a Californian-based cannabis manufacturer. The company implemented Sage’s ERP system, which helped it streamline its manufacturing processes and improve inventory control. As a result, the company was able to achieve significant growth, and its revenue increased by 2,000% within a few years.

Project to develop a platform to manage several complicated data servers
Key features of that project are: monitor mail, internal messages based on MailEnable and OpenFire, synchronous integration between source code management servers using TFS (automatically syncing source code between servers according to established configuration), authentication for gRPC using pre-defined-key and configured client address at DNS Server, integration of centralized authentication for Web API (using ADFS, Identity Server, Jwt,…). We carried out some important task on researching and developing the features of the platform, building solutions and developing key features, writing documentation, testing and fixing bugs. The technologies that we use are: C#, PowerShell, XML
