In the world of digital transformation, there are few tools as vital as an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. With its centralized approach, a robust ERP platform gives businesses an all-encompassing view of their operations through an integrated ecosystem that harnesses data from multiple sources. This allows for an organization to manage its disparate business units through a unified system, bridging the gaps between siloed departments. In this blog post, we will explore how companies can effectively use ERP applications across diverse business units, with updated data, and real business cases to underpin the benefits.

Some examples on company effectively utilize ERP

Let’s take a look at some examples of companies that are effectively using ERP. One such company is Nestle. Nestle is a Swiss-based food and beverage company that implemented an ERP system to streamline its business processes. The company used SAP’s ERP solution to integrate its different business functions, and as a result, was able to improve product quality, reduce lead times, and increase the accuracy of its inventory records.

Another example of a company that is effectively using ERP is Procter and Gamble (P&G). P&G is a consumer goods company that implemented an ERP system designed by SAP. The ERP system allowed P&G to consolidate its operations and streamline its supply chain, resulting in significant cost savings. In addition to this, the system helped P&G improve its inventory management, allowing the company to better manage its production processes and reduce waste.

In recent years, small and medium-sized businesses have also started to implement ERP systems, and one such example is the CannaCraft, a Californian-based cannabis manufacturer. The company implemented Sage’s ERP system, which helped it streamline its manufacturing processes and improve inventory control. As a result, the company was able to achieve significant growth, and its revenue increased by 2,000% within a few years.

What projects are we working on in Eastgate?

Project on data control and management system

In today’s digital age, businesses need to have reliable and efficient ways to manage their data and analytics. It’s our main purpose when we design the software for our customer. It is a report management tool that is designed to allow administrators to create reports in different formats such as tables, forms, and labels. With its powerful features and functionality, it enables users to control and manage data from various sources seamlessly.

This software has a powerful data management system that allows you to collect data from various sources such as databases, data warehouses, applications, and CSV files. It also supports data conversion, data mapping, and data quality checks to ensure that the data collected is accurate. The software enables clean and efficient data management regardless of the volume of data your business generates.

It also provides comprehensive reporting tools that allow you to create and customize reports in a variety of formats depending on your needs. This feature enables you to measure your business performance, identify trends, and make informed decisions based on accurate data. The reporting tool is easy to use, and you can create reports in a matter of minutes. We have done many features, such as support multi language, allow users to design the layout of the report themselves, allow users to mark based on certain conditions of the data, …

Project to develop a platform to manage several complicated data servers

Key features of that project are: monitor mail, internal messages based on MailEnable and OpenFire, synchronous integration between source code management servers using TFS (automatically syncing source code between servers according to established configuration), authentication for gRPC using pre-defined-key and configured client address at DNS Server, integration of centralized authentication for Web API (using ADFS, Identity Server, Jwt,…). We carried out some important task on researching and developing the features of the platform, building solutions and developing key features, writing documentation, testing and fixing bugs. The technologies that we use are: C#, PowerShell, XML

ERP applications are essential tools for businesses that are looking to streamline their operations, reduce costs, gain transparency, enhance compliance, and maintain an agile business that can adapt to change. With an integrated platform and data visibility, businesses can benefit immensely from improved decision-making capabilities, consistent customer service, and scalability. By implementing ERP software effectively and consistently across diverse business units, companies can realize benefits they never imagined possible and drive results that will impact the bottom line.
