Book #1: “Trên đường băng” by Tony buổi sáng.
By sharing his own experience, he was able to bring faith to countless people. For the younger generation, going out into the world is something of a flash. So, is that good or bad? In Tony’s book, the author’s childhood hometown was a poor land, his house was many kilometers away from the school, life was difficult with the worry of daily income and food. And the only joy is watching the sky with flashy dreams every night with his father. Through such stories, readers will feel empathy, and a small hope begins to ignite. The idea of ”going to the big sea” began to grow, because “the village pond” no longer made people comfortable.
Book #2: “Becoming” by Michelle Obama.
“Becoming” was first published in the US in 2018, after Obama ended two consecutive terms as US president. And was published in Vietnam 07/2019. It tells about the life and stories from the idyllic to the wonderful of ‘First Lady’ Michelle Obama. There will be no specific advice given but there will be many meaningful and inspirational stories. ‘Becoming’ is simply how we become better versions of ourselves.
Book #3: “Sherlock Holmes” by Arthur Conan Doyle
There are so many reasons for Sherlock Holmes’s appeal that people don’t know they love the cases, the humor, or the friendships of Sherlock Holmes and Dr. John Watson too. The novel series is a collection of detective stories of detective Sherlock Holmes through most of the narration by Dr. John Watson. The special feature that makes a legendary Sherlock Holmes is the ability to reason and reason logically from simple details that everyone sees (but they don’t observe). Besides, the cases are also described quite closely and attractively with new details.
Book #4: “One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest” by Ken Kesey
Most of us are living in a vicious and boring cycle: home office home bed. Whether you are satisfied with that boring life, probably not. But, what made you choose this way of life? Because it’s safe. However, have you ever felt that, in the depths of your subconscious, this person, this soul has been missing something? So, what can give us the motivation to get up and reach out to the world out there? Perhaps the book One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest by writer Ken Kesey will be the answer for us.
Book #5: “Dám mơ lớn! Đừng hoài phí tuổi trẻ” by Lư Tư Hạo
“Everyone is looking for the same thing, but we rarely honestly ask ourselves what we really want. We rush to the road without rest, but often suspect that we are looking for things that are not really necessary, so we feel more and more anxious. The world is so wide, the path others take is for reference only, not the standard. You should find your own way, you need to learn to cover your ears, don’t listen to the hustle and bustle around, listen to your own voice.” If you’re stuck in a vicious cycle of wasting your youth, this book is for you.
In conclusion, these books are just some of the many great books out there that can help us adopt a growth mindset.
